A different side of Ischia.

Discover Ischia’s coastline with a boat reserved for your group and a skipper handling navigation. The day combines coastal views, swimming stops in suitable areas and time to relax on board. Departure harbour, route and stops are agreed with the team: tell us what you would like to see and how you would like to spend your day at sea.

Why choose this experience

With a skipper on board, you can enjoy the sea without handling navigation. Between Sorgeto, Sant’Angelo and the Aragonese Castle, combine coastal views, swimming stops and relaxation: the day is shaped around your group and sea conditions.

All the stops

Sorgeto Bay

We will cruise through the Sorgeto area, where thermal springs meet the sea. From the boat you will see the bay and its rocky shoreline. Your skipper will decide whether it is safe to approach. Bathing in the springs is never guaranteed: sea conditions determine what is possible on the day.

Sant’Angelo

We will approach Sant’Angelo from the sea, with the village houses gathered around its small harbour. If conditions allow and it fits the day, we can arrange a stop ashore: a walk through the lanes, a coffee or a little time by the harbour. Landing is agreed with your skipper, rather than a compulsory stop.

Aragonese Castle

We will pass the Aragonese Castle by sea, watching its outline change as the boat follows the coast. With Ischia Ponte in the background, this is a good moment for photographs and video. When navigation and boat traffic allow, your skipper can slow down so you have time to look and take pictures.

Citara Bay

We will continue past Citara Bay, looking towards its long beach and Ischia’s western coastline. Here we may combine a stretch of cruising with a pause on the water, if your skipper finds suitable conditions. Any stop depends on wind, sea conditions and enough space to keep the boat safely positioned.

Punta Imperatore

As we follow the coast towards Punta Imperatore, the scenery shifts from beach to higher rocky cliffs. This is a stretch to enjoy from the moving boat. Your skipper will keep a suitable distance from the rocks and choose the safest course onwards; a stop at this point is not promised.

Scannella

Along the Scannella stretch we will pass a more enclosed coastline, with rocks and small inlets. From the boat you can notice details that are harder to see from the road. If the sea, wind and safety conditions allow, your skipper may find shelter for a pause; otherwise we will continue cruising.

Maronti

We will cruise off Maronti, following the long beach on the southern coast. From the boat you will see the shore open out and the scenery change towards Sant’Angelo. We can cruise slowly or look for a suitable swimming spot, depending on the day’s conditions and the time you want to spend here.

Cartaromana

Passing through the Cartaromana area, we will see the coastline and different views of the Aragonese Castle. Take time for a photograph or simply watch from the boat. Your skipper will assess the route and any possible stop according to sea conditions, boat traffic and what can be done safely that day.

Ischia Ponte

Off Ischia Ponte, we will see the village facing the water and its connection to the Aragonese Castle. The view differs from a walk ashore: houses, coastline and castle come together in one scene. We will pass through the area while cruising; any landing must be arranged and is not a compulsory part of the tour.

Lacco Ameno

Along Lacco Ameno’s coast we will look towards the town and the shoreline around it. Your skipper will choose the route according to conditions on the northern coast. We may slow down to enjoy the view or continue towards a more sheltered area, keeping the day flexible and reserved for your group.

San Montano

Around San Montano, we will see a sheltered-looking bay between headlands, with the beach at its far end. If this area is on the day’s route, your skipper will assess whether approaching or pausing is suitable. Swimming here is a possibility rather than a promise: sea conditions, access and safety come first.

Grotta Verde

We may pass the Grotta Verde area if the route and conditions allow. Your skipper will assess access and explain how to observe the coast safely. Any visit inside is by swimming only, never by boat, and cannot be guaranteed. This part of the itinerary may be omitted when the sea is unsuitable.

Lunch by the sea

On the full-day tour we can arrange a pause for lunch. Your skipper can help choose a suitable stop according to your location, sea conditions and availability ashore. We will agree the pause as part of planning your day.

Lunch and food or drinks ashore are not included in the price.

The itinerary shown is indicative. Route, swimming stops and timing may change according to sea conditions, safety requirements and guests’ preferences.
