Moments to remember · 6 MIN READ

Thinking of proposing in Ischia? Let’s start with the two of you.

Perhaps you have already chosen the ring. Or perhaps you only have an image in mind: the two of you, the sea around Ischia and a question that changes everything. You do not need a perfect plan yet. Start by telling us about yourselves and the moment you want to remember.

Before the perfect place, your story

Some dream of a proposal at sunset; others would feel more at home on a simple day, swimsuits still wet, with nobody around expecting anything. A proposal can be either. It does not have to resemble a scene you have seen before: it should feel unmistakably yours.

If you write to organise a surprise, start here. Does the person you love adore the sea? Do they prefer quiet or the energy of a day on a boat? Will it be just the two of you, or a few loved ones nearby? These answers, before any decorations, shape your outing.

Sunset: when you really need very little

Imagine boarding under the pretext of an aperitivo. The harbour falls away, the coastline softens and the light changes. You have a boat reserved for you, prosecco already aboard and time to let evening arrive. Ischia Boat Rental’s Golden Hour creates that space without filling every minute.

The indicated departure for the experience is 18:30, returning at the end of sunset; the team confirms the time for your date. There is no compulsory moment to ask your question. Wait until you feel ready, look at the sea and let the gesture remain your own.

The skipper is aboard to take care of navigation. If you want to prepare a surprise, speak to us beforehand: we agree how to include it in the outing without turning the experience into a rigid programme.

Gozzo or Salpa? Choose the atmosphere that suits you

The Fratelli Aprea 750 carries the charm of a Mediterranean gozzo: a choice for those who enjoy a classic, intimate atmosphere. The Salpa 33 offers room to relax, sunbathing areas and contemporary character. Both can be requested for the sunset experience, subject to availability.

You do not need to fill every seat to have the boat exclusively. It can be just the two of you: a private outing means choosing who shares the moment. If you want your closest people there, the gozzo accommodates up to seven guests and Salpa up to ten.

Details to prepare, moments to leave spontaneous

Surprises work best when the practical arrangements are simple. Share the date, your group size and where you are staying. If the proposal must remain a surprise, provide a contact and the best way to reach you: we can agree how to communicate about your enquiry.

We look after the experience at sea: the boat, navigation and outing details agreed with you. Personal preparations for the surprise remain yours, with the freedom to choose what represents you.

Golden Hour includes skipper, fuel, water, prosecco, beach towels and VAT; snorkelling equipment is provided on the gozzo and Salpa. Meals and refreshments ashore are excluded, and any extras are agreed beforehand. The most important gesture needs nobody else to organise it: that part is yours alone.

After the yes, do not hurry straight back

You can let it end with the last reflection on the sea. Or give your journey a little more room: a night on the island, a walk the next day, a private tour of Ischia to discover places already becoming part of a shared memory.

If you are coming from Naples, ask about a private transfer to Ischia. Transfer and tour are separate services: tell us your travel times so we can assess a programme that does not make you rush. Accommodation ashore is arranged separately.

Write even if you have not decided everything

You can simply say: “I would like to propose in Ischia, but I do not know where to start.” Add a date, even an approximate one, and a few words about the two of you. It is enough to begin a conversation.

We reply with availability and details for you to consider before any confirmation. Our role is to help you choose the right outing and understand the practical arrangements. Once aboard, you can return to what really matters: the person in front of you.
